Returns Policy

We would like you to be happy with your purchase, however if you are in any way dissatisfied:

Retail Customers

a. If you are a retail (non-trade) consumer you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days after the date your order is delivered (cooling off period) by contacting our Returns Department via email on ukmailorder@sallybeauty.com to specify what you want to return and your order number. For more information please refer to our Returns Procedure (below).

b. You do not have to give a reason if you cancel your order within the cooling off period.

c. You will be responsible for returning your order to us, at your cost.

d. If you do not return the order we may arrange for collection. If so, we will deduct the costs of collection from your refund.

e. Goods will only be accepted if returned in their original condition including outer packaging, unopened, unused and in saleable condition.

f. We will refund you within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods.

g. If there is no error made by us with your order, we will only refund the cost of your goods. We will not refund you the delivery charge (if any) paid by you when you placed your order.

h. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept the return of certain items listed but not limited to the products below, unless they are faulty.

  • Cosmetics
  • Hair Brushes or Combs
  • Hair Extensions or Pieces
  • Body Jewellery, Earrings or Piercing Tools
  • Foot Spas
  • Scissors
  • Manicure / Pedicure Tools

i. Special order items cannot be returned.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

All Customers

 

If for any reason you’ re not happy with your purchase, we will on production of proof of purchase, offer an exchange or full refund provided:

 

  • You notify us within 28 days from the date of purchase that you wish to return the item.
  • The goods are returned to us in perfect, unused, resalable condition.
  • The item you want to return is not an excluded item, for example, hair extensions (please see exceptions above).
  • Refunds will be subject to the purchase price less 10% handling charge. Carriages charge will not be refunded (for retail customers only, the handling charge will where you wish to return the goods after the cooling period has expired.
  • Goods which are given free, as part of an offer, are not exchangeable or refundable, unless the full offer is returned.
  • Special order items cannot be returned.

 

You will be responsible for returning the goods to us and the risk of loss or damage to the goods remains with you. We therefore recommend that all goods returned are sent by reordered delivery post.

 

Return of Damaged, Defective or Wrongly Delivered Goods

a. If you return any goods in your order because it is damaged, defective or wrongly delivered, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges (if any) paid by you when you placed the order and we will reimburse the costs of returning the goods to us.

b. Please arrange return of the goods by contacting our Online Customer Support Team via email on ukmailorder@sallybeauty.com or by telephone on 0845 601 4861.

c. You may also return faulty / unwanted goods to any one of our stores. To do this you will need to present the goods along with the delivery paperwork you will have received with the order and your proof of purchase. This does not apply to large/ bulky furniture/ electrical items, for which you must contact our Online Customer Support Team as set out above.
